Tazkiyah is a free Islamic mobile application dedicated to spiritual and religious education. It offers Quranic content, prayer reminders, supplications (dua), dhikrs, and Islamic teachings accessible to Muslims all over the world.

We place the utmost importance on protecting your privacy. This privacy policy transparently describes what data is collected, why it is collected, and how it is used.

2.1 Data We Do NOT Collect

Tazkiyah does not collect:

• •Your first name, last name, or email address
• •Your phone number
• •Your precise GPS location
• •Your contacts or personal data
• •Your banking or financial data

2.2 Data Collected Automatically (via AdMob)

To fund development and keep the app 100% free, we use Google AdMob. AdMob may collect:

• •Device advertising identifier (IDFA on iOS, GAID on Android)
• •IP address (anonymized)
• •Usage data (pages visited, duration)
• •Device type, operating system and version
• •Device language and region

This data is used solely to display relevant, non-intrusive advertisements.

2.3 Data Collected Automatically (via the Website)

The tazkiyah.fr website uses Google Analytics and Vercel Analytics / Speed Insights to measure audience and technical performance. These tools may collect:

• •Pages visited, visit duration, traffic source
• •IP address (anonymized)
• •Device and browser type
• •Performance statistics (load times)

Google Analytics is only activated after your explicit consent via the cookie banner (Google Consent Mode v2 — see section 5). Vercel Analytics / Speed Insights does not set any cookie and does not track visitors individually across sites.

Data collected via AdMob is used to:

• •Improve the user experience
• •Fund the free maintenance and development of the app

Tazkiyah never sells, rents, or shares your personal data with third parties for their own commercial purposes.

Expo / React Native

The app is built with Expo (React Native). No personal data is sent to Expo in production.

Aladhan API

Prayer times are calculated via the aladhan.com API. Only an approximate latitude and longitude are transmitted — no personal data.

For Users in the European Union (GDPR)

In accordance with the GDPR, we ask for your consent before displaying personalized ads. You may at any time:

• •Decline and receive only non-personalized advertising
• •Withdraw your consent via the app settings

For iOS Users (ATT — App Tracking Transparency)

In accordance with Apple's policy, the app may ask for your permission to track your activity via the ATT prompt. This tracking is used exclusively to improve ad relevance. You can decline at any time in Settings > Privacy > Tracking.

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your data against unauthorized access, loss, or disclosure. Advertising data is processed by Google according to the industry's highest security standards.

Tazkiyah is a family-friendly app, open to all ages. It is rated as general audience content (G). We do not knowingly collect any personal data from children under 13. If you are a parent and believe your child has provided us with data, contact us for immediate deletion at contact.tazkiyah@gmail.com.

Data collected via AdMob is retained according to Google's retention policy. Tazkiyah itself does not store any user data on its servers.

In accordance with the GDPR, you have the following rights:
