✦ Summary

Isa was born without a father, to a virgin, Maryam — a miracle the Quran compares only to the creation of Adam. He spoke in the cradle to defend his mother's honor. He received the Injil (Gospel) and performed numerous miracles. Islam rejects his crucifixion and affirms his elevation, alive, to Allah. He will return at the end of time.

Chapter 1 — The Miraculous Birth

Maryam had withdrawn alone to a remote place. The angel Jibril appeared to her in human form. She said: "I seek refuge in Allah from you — if you fear Allah, go away." Jibril said: "I am but a messenger of your Lord, to give you a pure boy." She said: "How can I have a child when no man has touched me?" He answered: "So it will be — your Lord says: it is easy for Me. And We will make him a sign for the people and a mercy from Us." Isa's birth without a father is presented in the Quran as analogous to the creation of Adam: "The likeness of Isa before Allah is as the likeness of Adam: He created him from dust, then said to him 'Be,' and he was." Both testify that creation is an act of divine will, independent of any natural process.

📖 Quranic verse

🇬🇧 The likeness of Jesus with Allah is as the likeness of Adam. He created him from dust then He said to him "Be" and he was

💡 Lessons

🌱Isa's birth teaches that natural laws are instruments of the divine Will — not constraints upon it.
🔥Proclaiming one's servitude to Allah, even at the height of miracles, is the sign of true prophethood.
💎Isa's return reminds us that history is not an endless cycle — it has an end willed and directed by Allah.
