The Ablutions
Ritual purification (Tahâra) — the indispensable condition for prayer. Sources: Quran, Sahîh Al-Bukhârî, Sahîh Muslim.
"O you who believe! When you rise for prayer, wash your faces and hands to the elbows, wipe your heads and wash your feet to the ankles. If you are in a state of janâba, purify yourselves by the ritual bath."
"The prayer of one who has had a hadath is not accepted until he performs ablution."
— Abû Hurayra
